Moving to second place with 10 laps left in the Brainerd 125, Utah's Michael Self chased down leader Dylan Kwasniewski to take the lead on the white flag lap. From there it was clear sailing for the 21-year old's first career victory on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

Brad Keselowski's fuel lasted the final 73 laps at Charlotte Motor Speedway as he earned his 18th career victory on the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Keselowski netted over $46,000 for his first NASCAR Nationwide Series win of the 2012 season.

Joey Saldana led 23 23 of 30 laps en route to his 79th career World of Outlaws feature victory. The win was good for $12,000 to the driver of the Great Clips sprinter.

Ricky Stenhouse dominated the field for most of the race to capture the checkered flag at the Pioneer Hi-Bred 250 in front of 34,000 fans Sunday. The win is the third straight at the 0.875-mile track for Stenhouse, who swept the two Nationwide races held here last year

In beating Brad Keselowski to the finish of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway by .841 seconds, Jimmie Johnson won the exhibition event for the third time, tying Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jeff Gordon for most all-time.

After months of frustration, Jimmie Johnson gave Rick Hendrick his 200th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory, running away from the rest of the field on a green-white-checkered-flag restart that took the Bojangles' Southern 500 one lap past its scheduled distance.

Joey Logano drove away from Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin after a green-white-checkered-flag restart to win his second straight race in the series and third of the season.

Ron Capps, who used a consistent string of 4.16-second runs to take his 34th career victory, outran Robert Hight in the final round, who was trying to give JFR its seventh consecutive win of the season. Capps’ Napa Auto Parts Dodge Charger posted a 4.166 second run at 303.91 mph to take the win, while Hight’s Auto Club Ford Mustang trailed with a 4.399 at 273.44.

Dylan Kwasniewski, who picked up his first win of the season and third of his career, started from the pole and led every lap in the first NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at the quarter-mile track since 2006. It was also the sixth time in nine NASCAR K&N Pro Series West races at Stockton since 2002 that a race was extended past its advertised distance.

Robert Hight, who has won four of the first six races in 2012, claimed his fourth No. 1 qualifying position of the season Saturday with a leading performance of 4.104 seconds at 308.35 mph in his Auto Club Ford Mustang. Hight teammates John Force and Mike Neff won the other two races to give the JFR team a stronghold on the winner’s circle this season.

Joey Logano wins NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Talladega Superspeedway with a late race pass on Sprint Cup series teammate, Kyle Busch.

Tony Schumacher, who earned his last victory 29 races ago in Oct. 2010, powered his U.S. Army dragster to a track record time of 3.815 seconds at 322.58 mph, putting him in position to earn his first No. 1 qualifying position of the season and 68th of his career if the run holds through Saturday's final two qualifying sessions (11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.).

Mike Neff powered his Castrol GTX Ford Mustang past Ron Capps’ NAPA Auto Parts Dodge Charger R/T in the final round of eliminations. Neff’s 4.239 second pass at 301.67 mph was too much for Capps, who hazed the tires in the Texas heat and clocked a 4.476 second pass at 211.79 mph.

Greg Pursley dominated the early portion of the race and led the first 21 laps before stopping for fuel. At one point he had a more than six-second lead on Eric Holmes. After the stop he drove his No. 26 Gene Price Motorsports/Star Nursery Ford through the field and made it to second place before suffering the flat tire on Lap 39. Fortunately, Pursley discovered the tire going down at precisely the best place on the 2.2-mile road course.

The win was Kyle Busch's first of the season and the 24th of his career, tying him with his brother, 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Kurt Busch, for 26th all-time.

The GEICO/Lucas Oil Top Fuel team of Morgan Lucas ran low E.T. of the event during Friday evening’s qualifying session and the 3.772 second pass at 327.74 mph held up as the No. 1 qualifying position throughout Saturday’s warm weather conditions.

Kurt Busch delivered the first-ever NASCAR Nationwide Series victory to the team owned by his brother, Kyle Busch. The win was Busch's fourth in the series and his first on a short track. Hamlin came up two feet short after a phenomenal drive from the rear of the field after a pit road mistake.

Cruz Pedregon’s Snap-on Tools Toyota Camry team struggled in the beginning of the season, but Pedregon feels like the team is finally coming together. If the team holds onto the No. 1 spot through Saturday’s qualifying sessions it will be his second of the season and 32nd of his career.

The Little family has made plenty of news and history in the Pacific Northwest in the sport of auto racing. Now it may just be third-generation driver Jesse Little, who makes history should he qualify for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series Event at Richmond International Raceway on Thursday. Little is excited to become his family's third generation NASCAR driver following in the footsteps of father Chad and grandfather Chuck.
