John Dillon, a former NASCAR NW Tour champion, has his eyes set on another championship and has been the hottest RMCS driver as of late, winning the series finale at Magic Valley last season and picking up the win two weeks ago at Salt Lake City.
John Dillon started in the tenth position and quickly made his way to the front leading the most laps en route to the win. Zan Sharp’s chances of victory faded at lap 60 when he cut a tire and had to pit losing two laps in the process. Lynn Hardy’s night ended on the hook after contact with a spinning Bruce Quale in turn four.
The upcoming Rocky Mountain Challenge Series event will mark the start of the season for the popular Late Model touring series after rain took round one back on May 2.
