Movies & More

Back in the USSA, time for some serious moviegoing

Before I embark on a big weekend of filmgoing, I began my Friday by going to the gym (trying to work off that seven pounds I picked up in Italy) and then making my obligatory stop at the Gonaga-district Starbucks. And for a two-buck discount, I purchased a pound of espresso roast coffee. The sale goes on for a while, yet, so if you drink Starbucks -- and those who do severly outnumber those who don't -- you might want to take advantage.

My movie schedule: "Project Nim" at the Magic Lantern, "Take Shelter" and "Martha Marcy May Marlene" at the AMC River Park Square Theatres. No time for blockbusters this weekend.

Below: The trailer for "Project Nim."
