Obama's Inauguration

Finally made it

Gene Fitzpatrick of Spokane reports:

We finally made it through the silver gate areal. It took us about two-plus hours to go a block and a h alv between the first gauntlet of police and funnel down the street.

Now we're in the silver ticket area, behind the reflecting pool and in front of the Museum of Native American History.

It's cold. People are in good spirits and we're just taking it all in. It's a beautiful day, but wish it was about 40 degrees warmer.
