Who’s going to move into the empty former Blockbuster site on the South Hill?

The South Hill former Blockbuster building, at 1318 S. Grand, has been closed for 14 months. See the closing announcement.

A local group planned to move a restaurant called Savory into that building. Then the project stalled due to unexpected issues, including remodeling costs.

There’s still some action related to that project and we expect some resolution will be announced before  the end of the summer.  If anyone wants to add more information on this project, please comment here or e-mail us, at
