Free fly tying activities at Silver Bow

FLY FISHING -- Two free fly tying activites are scheduled at Silver Bow Fly Shop, 13210 E. Indiana Ave., plus an in-depth class for a fee.

Flies and Lies

  • What: Free fly tying clinic with local professional tier Tom Keefe. Bring your own fly tying gear. Tie flies, get help with techniques and tell fishing stories!
  • When: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

 LeRoy Hyatt Fly Tying Clinic

  • What: Watch and learn as master fly tyer LeRoy Hyatt demonstrates techniques for his time proven local patterns. FREE.
  • When: Feb 19th 10a.m.-2 p.m.

Advanced Fly Tying Clinic

  • What: Learn how to be a pro tier from expert tier Mark Poirier. Learn 6 patterns and the techniques.
  • When: Feb 15th and 16th  6pm-8pm
  • Cost: $75. Includes materials/tools for use.
