The event runs 8 a.m.-noon at Camas Center for Community Wellness, 1821 N. LeClerc Rd. in Usk.

The workshop agenda includes information on specific pest control for rodents (pocket gophers, voles and ground squirrels): expert advice on calibrating spraying equipment; herbicides for site-specific weed control and weedy grass control; and how the cost-share program works.

Class participants will receive their 2011 Neighborhood Cost Share application early.

Three recertification credits are available for both Washington and Idaho pesticide applicator license holders.
