Ellensburg will be hot spot for fly fishing action

FLY FISHING -- Fly fishers will find plenty of action in Ellensburg this weekend, and the won't have to put on their waders.

The Fly Fishing Film Tour
 
The 2012 "Fly Fishing Film Tour," which already has been in Spokane and Sandpoint, will make a stop on Friday, (May 4) in Ellensburg. The event gets an angler's blood pumping with  music, unique destinations, and incredible fly fishing footage.
 
Location: Raw Space, 117 E. 4th Ave. Doors open at 6:30 PM, show at 8 PM. Tickets: $15.
 
2012 Washington Fly Fishing Fair
 
The annual Washington Fly Fishing Fair put on by the Federation of Fly Fishers runs Friday and Saturday (May 4-5), featuring more than 100 fly tiers, casting workshop and competitions, a number of fly fishing vendors, guides, and free seminars.
 
Location:  Kittitas Valley Event Center.
