Ladies Day set at Cabela’s on Saturday

OUTDOOR PROMOTIONS – Women will be treated to prizes, free seminars on handguns, an intro to archery and other events plus discounts on purchases during the Ladies Day Out promotion Saturday at the Post Falls Cabela’s store.

Five half-hour seminars begining at 10 a.m., include jerky and fudge-making.

SATURDAY, OCT. 5

Handguns and Heels
10:00am in our Hunting Department

Don’t know a thing about guns?  This seminar is for you.  First thing’s first:  guns aren’t just for guys.  Our expert outfitters will walk you through different types of firearms:  handguns, pistols, rifles, shotguns, and much more, and explain the differences and uses for each one.

Looking Good in the Field
10:30am in our Camo Department

Behind the scenes:  Cabela’s Fudge Making
11:00am in our General Store

Our outfitters have been making fudge at Cabela’s for years.  Come back to our General Store and they will divulge their greatest recipes and show you how our fudge is made. 

Bows are for Girls: Intro to Archery
11:30am in our Archery Department

Expert local archers will be teaching the ladies how to properly hold a bow, load an arrow, and aim at a target.  We will have our indoor archery range available  for your use.  Feel the rush when you hit your first bulls-eye!

Homemade Jerky and Snacks
12:00pm in our Camping Department

Our expert outfitters will show you how to make delectable dried fruits and mouth-watering jerky so that you can WOW your friends and family after your next harvest or hunting trip.

SUNDAY, OCT. 6

Casting for Fish – just for the Ladies
12:30pm in our Fishing Department

Our expert outfitters will show you how to properly rig your rod.  We will also walk you through the basic equipment you’ll need for your first fishing trip.  Then, we’ll show you how to properly cast into the water, so you can make your first big catch!

Concealed Carry Accessories for Ladies.

12:30pm in our Hunting Department

Women have unique challenges when it comes to disguising firearms in a practical, yet fashionable way.  We will talk about holster locations on female bodies, how to wear your clothing, and show you products to conceal and carry with style.
