Idaho needs a nudge to designate national park

PUBLIC LANDS -- It's gratifying to know that I'm not the only one who thinks Idaho would benefit by having a national park.

Idaho should have new national park in place for NPS's 100th celebration
It's unfortunate the Idaho House couldn't support the Idaho Senate's resolution in support of making the Craters of the Moon National Monument a national park. It's time to work up the ladder. Idaho's congressional delegation should take note of the local support the idea has and get cracking on getting this done so Idaho could celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service next year with a new national park to call its own.
