Fire forces cancelation of Little Spokane River shuttle service for Saturday

WATERSPORTS -- The Little Spokane River Fire, which has burned roughly 200 acres and is still listed as 0 percent contained this morning has prompted the Spokane Parks and Recreation Department to cancel its Saturday shuttle service for paddlers on July 11.

Pre-register for the shuttle service to paddling trailheads on the river for other summer Saturdays in advance or show up and register at the trailheads during operation hours.
