Washington is big on grouse

WILDLIFE WATCHING -- Grouse of various types are gearing up for spring strutting, dancing, drumming and other cool ways of courtship.

Washington is especially blessed with grouse.  Before looking at the answer below or clicking on the link above, can you name the seven grouse species or subspecies found in the Evergreen State?
