NATURE -- The "Skippers of Washington" will be the topic of the program for the Washington Butterfly Association monthly meeting in Spokane on Wednesday, April 20.

The free program will be held starting at 6 p.m. in Room 1A at the Downtown Spokane Library, 906 W. Main.

The program is a video recorded a few years ago from a slide presentation given by late butterfly expert Bob Hardwick.

"All 30 of the state's skippers will be described with scientific precision and of course with Bob's engaging enthusiasm," said John Baumann, the local chapter chairman.

"I will follow up with some local skipper updates as time allows.  Please join us to learn more about these often challenging little butterflies!"
