FLORA -- “Bracken Fern: The Species and Much More”  is the topic of a presentation set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St., in Moscow, Idaho.

Learn about bracken’s biology, historic uses (including food), and how bracken can exclude other plants.

Speaker Dennis Ferguson, PhD, has researched this fern’s effects on forests for decades, via the Forest Service’s Rocky Mountain Research Station.
