SEASONS -- As I reported this morning, the Summit Road to the top of Mount Spokane was closed, at least temporarily, today because of snow that fell last night.

Mount Spokane State Park officials said the Summit Road will reopen if the snow melts before its normal season closure date of Oct. 16.

Meanwhile, Ed Cairns was near the mountain today, at about 4,800 feet. He seized the moment as one can see in the photo above.
