Muscle-powered skiers find powder in high Selkirks

WINTERSPORTS -- Fall colors are overrated if you're a die-hard backcountry skier or split-boarder looking for whiteness.  

Jason Hershey and his powder-hound friends trekked up from Priest Lake to Horton Ridge and the slopes of Mount Roothaan this weekend to carve tracks and usher in the winter season.

Be on the lookout for denning grizzlies, boys.
