BICYCLING -- Signing up now for the 10th annual SpokeFest -- Spokane's big Sept. 10 bicycle touring event -- makes riders eligible for weekly drawings to win cool prizes.

For 10 weeks, SpokeFest organizers will be giving away one item a week. Everyone who's pre-registered will be entered in the weekly drawings.

The first drawing was last week and a rider named Carolyn won a Goal Zero Lighthouse 400 lantern and solar charger from Mountain Gear.

The next name will be drawn on July 21 and the lucky winner will wing two tickets to a Gonzaga men's basketball game, complements of The Spokesman-Review.

The third drawing will be July 28 for a set of four passes to the MAC complements of The Spokesman-Review. The newspaper also is providing Spokane Civic Theater tickets and four tickets to the Spokane County Fair including grandstand event.

Other weekly prizes include an adult bicycle and accessories from REI, two Gonzaga women’s basketball tickets and a four-way wheel alignment from C&H Auto.

SpokeFest Spokane Falls 9 Mile Loop:
Shortcut the REI River Loop into a 9 mile ride.

SpokeFest Spokesman OUTDOORS Half Century:
A 29 mile add-on to the Classic River Loop, for a
