Little Spokane River paddler shuttle service starts Saturday

PADDLING -- Spokane Parks and Recreation will begin its annual service on Saturday to shuttle canoes, kayaks or SUPs from the 9 Mile take-out of the Little Spokane River to the put-in at St George's.

Shuttle runs on Saturdays between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 1-Sept. 2. Last shuttle at 4 p.m.

You can show up anytime throughout the day. Pre-register at spokaneparks.org.

Shuttle cost: $8 per person one way. Pay on-site with CHECK, CREDIT or DEBIT CARD ONLY, NO CASH on site.

No inner tubes, rafts, dogs or alcohol allowed on the Little Spokane.

Life jackets required.

Youths 17 & under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

Washington Discover Pass required on vehicles. Purchase a Discover Pass at sporting goods shops, the Riverside State Park office near Nine Mile Dam or online at discoverpass.wa.gov.
