Summer Education

A friend asked me to post this question:

Do parents structure their kids’ days during the summer months, such as working with them on reading, math, writing, etc.?

What are your ideas for planning your summer and fitting learning in?

We don’t do TV or computer during the day and we read a lot. Every year I say we’re going to do math at least three times a week, but times seems to fly by so fast what with camps and friends and just lying about that we don’t tend to do it. But we do read a lot and talk a lot and learning doesn’t just stop. I wouldn’t call it structured, though.
