Tips sought on driver v. pedestrian assault

Police are seeking tips on a driver they believe intentionally hit a pedestrian near a Spokane elementary school last week.

The victim was struck at 200 W. Nebraska, across the street from Madison Elementary School, about 4:30 p.m. on March 26.

Officers believe the crash was not an accident. But investigators exhausted leads and police said today that the case remains unsolved.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for tips. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (509) 327-5111 or (800) 222-TIPS, or submit tips online.

Tipsters do not have to give a name but should provide a code name or number.
