Police: Rapist likely to reoffend now in Valley

 A convicted child rapist classified as a sex offender most likely to reoffend is now living in Spokane Valley. 

Kevin A. Anderson, 36, was recently released into the community as a transient but now lives in the 5000 block of East Trent Avenue, according to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office.

Anderson was convicted in Spokane County of second-degree rape of a child in 1994 and third-degree rape of a child in 1995.

He also has convictions for second-degree burglary, domestic violence malicious mischief and violation of a no-contact order.

Anderson is a level 3 sex offender. He's not wanted by police, but authorities want people to be aware of his presence.
