Gunman wanted in Spokane carjacking

A man who stole a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville at gunpoint in East Central Spokane Thursday is on the loose.

The carjacker stole the Pontiac from a woman at First Avenue and Stone Street about 11 p.m., according to the Spokane Police Department. The woman left the car after the man ordered her out at gunpoint.

The man, described as white, short, thin and his 20s, drove away in the car, which is green with Washington license plate 491ZDR.

If you see the car, call 911. The gunman was clean-shaven and wore a hooded sweatshirt.
