Crime Stoppers fugitive already behind bars

A stabbing suspect wanted by Crime Stoppers has been in state prison since February.

Jacob M. Maravilla, 20, has been in Department of Corrections custody since Feb. 22, according to the DOC.

He was given a drug offender sentencing alternative for possession of a motor vehicle, but that sentence was revoked in February and he returned to prison. He's at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla and is due out in May 2011.

A warrant was recently issued for Marvailla on several charges, including first-degree assault, in connection with a Feb. 10 attack at 907 E. Wabash. Crime Stoppers offered a reward for tips on his location Thursday.

No word if the prison guards are eligible for the reward.
