Man arrested with 140 grams of heroin

A suspected heroin dealer was arrested Thursday with more than 140 grams of the drug.

Douglas A. Jones, 42, is in jail on two felony drug charges. Police believe he gets the heroin outside Spokane, then sells it for $70 a gram locally.

Jones had seven, 25-gram packages on him at the time of his arrest, police said.

The Spokane Police Department's Special Investigations Unit has been investigating him for months.
