Police are asking for help identifying a thief who stole an MP3 player from an SUV inside a Spokane Valley garage this month.
The victim's security video system captured images of the thief, who appears to be a white man about 25 to 35 years old with crew-length brown hair, thin and wearing a reddish t-shirt, shorts and dark shoes. 
The burglary occurred Aug. 9 about 6:30 p.m in the 11400 block of East Railroad Avenue. Anyone with information on the thief is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
