4th suspect charged in robbery spree

A fourth suspect has been charged in a series of convenience stores robberies.

Donald M. Lindquist, 21, is to be arraigned next week on two counts of second-degree robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery. He is not in custody.

Three other suspects, Sean T. Smith, 23; Vanessa E. Orr, 23; and Aaron L. Goldstein, 18, are in jail. Lindquist is Orr's brother.

Orr told police that Lindquist owns the vehicle used in five robberies committed between Nov. 28 and Dec. 6. He was a passenger in car during robberies at Sam’s Stop and Shop on Nov. 28 and the McQuick Mart on Dec. 5, she said.

Orr said she and Lindquist "would get cigarettes, food, methamphetamine, shelter and gas money when needed from the proceeds of the robberies," according to court documents.

Goldstein admitted participating in six robberies to Spokane County sheriff's Detective Mike Ricketts when he was arrested in December, documents say.

Goldstein was allowed to leave jail for drug rehabilitation but returned after ditching the center and invoking an arrest warrant and Crime Stoppers fugitive reward.
