Trial begins in brutal tire-iron assault
A Spokane County jury on Tuesday saw graphic photographs and heard descriptions of the tire-iron attack last year agai
nst a man who came to the United States as a refugee from Iraq after helping the U.S. military
Spokane County Deputy Prosecutor Larry Steinmetz told the jury how the gruesome beating took place. But, Steinmetz did not say why Grant T. McAdams, 25, is alleged to have committed attempted first-degree murder and first-degree robbery on May 9, 2011.
