Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to a man believed to have robbed a gas station in Coeur d'Alene early Tuesday morning.

At about 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, a man entered a Mobil Jifi Stop at 502 W. Appleway Ave., displayed a gun and demanded money, according to a Crime Stoppers press release. The man fled on a small BMX bicycle with cash. He was last seen traveling east on Appleway.

The suspect has a “small build,” according to the release. He was wearing a dark green hooded sweatshirt, black pants, dark colored shoes with white soles and a dark ski mask covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 208-667-2111 or 1-800-222-TIPS. Information can be submitted online at crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org. Callers can submit anonymous tips and still be eligible for the reward.

Correction: A previous version of this story said the incident took place in Spokane Valley. The robbery occurred at a Coeur d'Alene gas station.
