Was Miss Kitty a prostitute?
That thought did not occur to me while watching "Gunsmoke" as a kid. But as we get older and read about how the West was, uh, won, it seems pretty clear that the Long Branch Saloon probably offered more than just red eye at the bar.
Though perhaps she was strictly an administrator by the time she and Matt were an item.
In any case, she was a good person. I guess that's what really matters.
