The Slice

So apparently not all little kids are rotten

Merry and bright.
Merry and bright.

Got a note from Arlene Stromberger in Davenport.

"Hi, Paul,

"I want to give a shout-out to our 9-year-old granddaughter, Hallie Stromberger. It was her idea to make Christmas cards for nursing homes, the Veteran's hospital and the USO. This year, she made 240 handmade Christmas cards and distributed them.

"She uses her own money to buy the card stock, etc. It's her mission to let these people know they matter and have value, and each card has a handwritten message. She has such a big heart and I think this deserves a mention.

"Hallie and her family just moved to Arizona, from Washington state, but that doesn't matter when it comes to good deeds, does it?"
