The Slice

Paul’s People, No. 49

Lars once safely relocated a swarm of bees from a tree outside the Davenport.
Lars once safely relocated a swarm of bees from a tree outside the Davenport.

I had not met Lars Neises in person until this morning, but I have been emailing with him for years.

In addition to being a valued Slice contributor, Lars is a retired community college math teacher, beekeeper and yoga enthusiast.

Among other things.

We share a birthday.

OK, I know what you are wondering. How often does he get stung by bees?

About twice a year. Considering that he tends to 10 hives, that's not much.
