No reason. Just wondered.
I liked a few of his songs. And I always got a kick out of how open he was offstage about how utterly, golf-playing normal he was in real life.
If you were at this concert, well, you were young.
The only reason I am posting this old Being There column, apart from it having run on this date in 1997, is the hope you might enjoy a couple of the song titles mentioned near the end.
This was several years before “The Dark Side of the Moon.”
He was here the previous year also.

I might have posted this setlist before. Sorry. But it is almost hard to believe that they performed here. Those of us of a certain age recall that they were bigger than big for a short time.
Name the movie is which a teacher is being hounded by a record club and he has to say he does not want a certain Santana album.
I don't know a thing about this band. And it's not as if I sit around listening to Cole Porter.
But several of these poetic song titles cracked me up. Rock on.
Though, it doesn't show up on some other lists I occasionally consult. Perhaps you know. Did it actually take place?
