I like it. This wasn't just any old sports news. The Royals-esque crowned K up at the top might be a bit much. But what the hey.

Don't you want your daily newspaper to reflect an awareness of community obsessions?

Of course, my judgment could be questioned as the late (for me) finish of this game blew my bedtime and I am operating on a sleep deficit.

But here's one of my favorite instances of sports taking over A1, from this spring. To full appreciate it, you have to realize that Ohio State University refers to itself as THE Ohio State University.

Would this really have been a headline?

This fake paper appears in a late 1959 episode of “The Twilight Zone” called “Time Enough at Last.”

Yes, I know this subject was on people's minds. But that headline seems a tad loud for a “What if…” story.
