Notable letter to the editor

I am trying to remember the last time I opened up a copy of the New Yorker magazine and saw that the first letter to the editor was from someone in Spokane.

Drawing a blank.

But that happened just the other day.

Cannot remember the topic, but the letter writer was Leslie Weatherhead and seeing it made me go “Wow”

D. G. Rogers is among three readers of The New Yorker magazine in the running to win that publication's latest weekly cartoon-caption contest.

His or her entry appears along with the others in the Dec. 3 issue.
