KAYU rules against “Perry Mason”

A longtime Spokane tradition appears to be at an end.

No more noon “Perry Mason” reruns on KAYU. It appears that the station is now showing “Matlock” in that weekday time slot.

Me TV (channel 29 in some parts of our area) is showing “Perry Mason.” But not at lunchtime.

Surely, given how long these ancient reruns have been a noontime TV fixture in Spokane, there must be a few people who can claim to have seen them all.

Seeing as how KAYU has been showing “Perry Mason” at noon since shortly after the Lewis & Clark expedition, you have to wonder.

How many television viewers in the Spokane area have seen all 600,000 episodes at least once?
