Felt will keep you warm

Samantha McDonald makes felted items for her craft business Strange Magic Moments - today is her first day back at the market: “I live close by and have participated in the market in the past. I just decided to get back into it. The market is important to the neighborhood - I buy a lot of stuff here and I like that you get to know the vendors. The more support we get right now the better.”

About this blog

Welcome to the South Perry neighborhood blog. My name is Pia Hallenberg and I’ve worked as a journalist in Spokane since the fall of 1998; for the last four years I’ve lived on South Perry Street.

I love the neighborhood so when time came to pick an area for The Spokesman-Review’s first neighborhood blog, the choice was simple: South Perry is where it’s at.
