The work at Grant Park Community Garden is progressing - the best way to follow the project is by joining the gardeners here on Facebook.
The garden will be dedicated right after the South Perry Street parade on July 16 at 11:30 a.m. Mayor Mary Verner and city council member Richard Rush will be speaking.

The old Altamont Pharmacy (the empty building just south of The Shop) continues its transformation and will soon add two new store fronts to the neighborhood. Stay tuned for news on tennants - the South Perry Blog has its ear to the ground and will share as soon as anything is confirmed.
