Spokane Public Schools has named Grant Elementary School volunteer Heidi Hash one of the District's outstanding volunteers this year. Here's what the school district had to say about Heidi:

"Heidi gets things done before anyone realizes they need to be done. She goes out of the way to invite new families to school events, to encourage them to look further into Grant and truly become part of the neighborhood. She figured out a way to preserve Grant’s after-school sports programs, and started an annual walk-a-thon to help raise money for them. She also started a hat, glove and sock drive for the school."
