Palin headed for CdA book signing

Former GOP vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is expected to be autographing copies of her new book next month at the Coeur d’Alene Fred Meyer store.

Palin, who already has a best-seller before her book is even released next week, is tentatively scheduled for a Coeur d’Alene stop on Dec. 10. But don’t call the store to ask for a time. They don’t have one yet, company spokeswoman Melinda Merrill said Tuesday.

“Everything is really tentative right now,” Merrill said.

But a CdA stop will be in keeping with her tour schedule, which is only announced through Dec. 8. She’s bypassing some big blue metro areas like Seattle and L.A. and doing a red heartlands swing that includes Sioux City and Sioux Falls, Fort Wayne and Birmingham.

If she books Spokane, too, we’ll let you know as soon as we do.

According to Mr Tony Stewart recently retired North Idaho College Educator, Ms Palin was an unremarkable student.. and he did not even remember her having been in his classes as she traipsed through more than a few colleges to finally squeak out a bachelor’s degree.

Also of note that Coeur d’ Alene is one of the Five fastest growing Whitopia towns in the United States… seems appropriate for her to pitch her book among “her people”… the “family values” folks will likely not be critical at all of her words in the upcoming book.

Wonder if she will fly in to Spokane International Airport?

In my view she is a carbon copy in gestalt with “Pretty Woman” Julia Robers.. watch and listen to her speak … and then watch Julia Roberts in her movies. j

Did you say “Fred Meyer”…. Oh my Goodness… they have “book shelves” …. but certainly are not considered a book store… Why not a small private book store in our sister city to the East. ? gus

Whitopia? “her people” ? , You may wish to research her diversity cred’s chefgus. She is married to man of Yupik Eskimo descent, therefore she and her children are ” diverse”. She lives among ,and governed a diverse people ( Alaska has many people groups;Eskimo,Aleut,Indian,Japanese,Russian,Philipino and even some caucasians.)

The question here is really about your lack of knowledge regarding the true Sarah Palin and your thinly veiled attempt at painting her as someone different than she is can be easily refuted.

Another reason to avoid trading at Fred Meyer.
Sarah Palin is a self aggrandizing pig in lipstick. What a huge embarrassment to smart accomplished women. I’m hoping the GOP nominates her and Lou Dobbs in 2012…….fish in a barrel.

I am trying to understand how a ” smart accomplished woman ” would outrightly call Sarah Palin” a self aggrandizing pig..”? Wouldn’t we do better to thoughtfully look at the issues she is proponent for rather than name calling ?I fail to see how being a woman governor with an 87% voter approval rating in her tenure as governor would not qualify her as both smart and accomplished. How about keeping her states books in the black, returning dividends to her consituents ? I would personally be proud if our state had the same level of “ accomplishment”.

Lulubelle “thoughtfully” followed Ms Palin’s bid for V-P and came to the conclusion that she is not only a self aggrandizing pig (with or without the lipstick….or was that a pit bull?), but a lying one to boot. Oh, and you might want to recheck your voter approval rating number after the ethics inquiries and her abrupt resignation so she could hit the book and speech circuit.
Have fun standing in line at Freds.

Harpoon… thanks for the information and comments… I do realize that Ms Palin is from diverse State… and all you said is true except the people she speaks to… “her people” ARE the folks that are populating the five named Whitopia’s in the book about the topic.. the “real americans”…. she may have forgotten her Alaskan roots… or have set them aside in her political quests.. best regards j

Oh.. and you are telling me that the over six foot tall… seemingly white male WITH hair on his face is an Alaskan Inuit Native …. give me a break… perhaps 1/16 … come on.. j
