Readings from elsewhere: NYT features Inland NW Tea Party movement

It’s always nice when other parts of the country notice us in the Inland Northwest, right?

OK, not always. The New York Times has a large story on the Tea Party Movement that prominently features folks from North Idaho and Eastern Washington. And by prominently, we mean from the first paragraph, right through to the last.

Isn’t this what the Oath Keeper’s, Patriots, and others around here want? Attention, time to increase the ranks. Got to over-throw the bad bad black man in office. Richard Butler may have died, but his legacy and mindset live on in the Inland NW. It’s too bad, but unless the thinking people of this area are willing to stand up to this, your just going to get more of the same.
