WALeg Week 8 on tap: On the floor.

Both chambers will spend most of the week voting on that boatload of legislation that has been approved by committees in the previous two weeks.

The Senate is expected to take up an increase in the gasoline tax to pay for large transportation projects, maintenance and public transit. It may also vote on proposed changes to the worker’s compensation system.

The House is expected to vote on raising the minimum wage to $12 over four years, and to require sick and safe leave for workers of most businesses.
