There are a few good reads in today's Valley Voice. The City of Spokane Valley's public works director believe's the city's plowing program has passed its first big test. Crews completed their first all-city plow this week.

Opportunity Presbyterian Church is bringing it's Toy Store back on Saturday, selling toys at a steep discount to low income families. Correspondent Stefanie Pettit wrote about her non-traditional Thanksgiving celebration at a local hotel. People who like to read the love stories columns by Cindy Hval can read a new one about a couple married since 1942 who moved 22 times because of the husband's Air Force career.
