It looks like the intersection of Appleway and Barker will be closed off and on between 8 a.m. and noon Saturday for utility work. I'm sure traffic will be backed up in the area, so plan ahead and avoid it.

I couldn't help noticing when I was out and about earlier today that all the signs have been taken down at the old Yoke's at Sprague and Progress. I'm not sure when they folded up their tent and left, but the store announced in September that they weren't able to renew their lease and would be closing. The store had been there since 1985.
