Spokane Valley

Thursday previews

The roads are all open, the kids are in school and it's really, really cold out there. That must mean it's time for previews of Thursday's Valley Voice.

Some West Valley students had a unique opportunity recently to visit the Eastern Washington University science lab. The children living at the Hutton Settlement are gearing up for their sixth annual Christmas tree sale that starts this weekend. For the first time u-cut trees will be available since some of the trees planted at the settlement are finally mature enough for harvesting. Also, regular correspondent Cindy Hval will have a column on her memories of sitting at the kids table on Thanksgiving.
