Spokane Valley

Happy and content

Gwyneth Cadwell, of Newman Lake, submitted this picture of Mr. Longtails enjoying a nap on a healthy bed of lettuce during the April showers. "The cat is in charge of quality control and we can see he takes his job seriously," Cadwell says. (Photo courtesy of Gwyneth Cadwell)

It's been too long since I posted a picture of a cute pet and I'm going through withdrawal. I rummaged around in our archives and found this Picture Perfect photo we ran this spring. Gwyneth Cadwell of Newman Lake submitted this snapshot of Mr. Longtails enjoying a nap on a healthy bed of lettuce during the April showers. I can almost hear the contented purring now.

Picture Perfect is a scrapbook of the people and events in Spokane Valley. We'll publish slice-of-life photographs for free. Just email them in with names and ages of everyone in the photo and information about where and when it was taken. Also include the name and phone number of the person who took the photograph. Send your submissions to pictureperfect@spokesman.com.
