Spokane Valley Fire Department crews are responding to a brush fire in the forested area south of Mirabeau Parkway near Mirabeau Park. Someone called in and reported seeing a column of smoke.
9:00 a.m. update - It sounds like this fire is in the same part of the Mirabeau Park Natural Area where the fire department fought a brush fire yesterday afternoon. I've posted some pictures of yesterday's fire that are from the Spokane Valley Fire Department.
