Greenacres Elementary burgled, drug arrest on I-90

It was a busy weekend Spokane Valley, apparently. Someone broke in to Greenacres Elementary School Saturday at 2:57 a.m., according to a police press release. Officers responded to an alarm to find a window that had been pried out of the wall on the est side of the building. Reporter Meghann Cuniff has more details here; anyone with information on the break in is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

Two Sheriff's deputies made a felony drug arrest Saturday near the Argonne exit on I-90 when they saw a driver commit two traffic infractions right in front of them, according to a police press release. They noticed the driver seemed "excessively nervous and jittery" when they pulled her over. Meghann has more details here.
