Nine arrested at Spokane Valley party
The Spokane Valley Police Department had to ask for help from other law enforcement agencies when they responded to a report of a loud party in the 16100 block of East Broadway at 1 a.m. Sunday. Numerous party goers were intoxicated and spread out in the street and several yards, according to a police press release. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office Air 1 helicopter responded to monitor the situation. In the end, police arrested nine people on charges ranging from rioting and resisting arrest to minor in possession of alcohol. Reporter Meghann Cuniff has more details here.
