Spokane Valley stabbing

A Spokane Valley woman was arrested for first degree assault Monday night after allegedly stabbing another woman several time in the back of the head, according to Spokane Valley Police. The altercation took place in the Summit School parking lot at Sixth and McDonald around 10 p.m.. Police used a K9 to track Cody Gray, 19, to her nearby home. Witnesses told police they also heard gunshots; shell casings were found in the parking lot but no gun was found, police said. Click here for more details.
