Spokane Valley shelter locations

Assembly of God is located just east of Pines Road and the shelter there has beds, food, heat, places to recharge electronics and it welcomes pets. 

The Spokane Valley Library, 12004 E. Main Ave., is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.. Friday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. The library offers a place to warm up, read a book and charge electronics but is closed on Thanksgiving Day and on Nov. 27. 

Spokane Valley crews are done removing trees from roadways and all traffic signals are back in service. Some street and traffic signs may still be missing. Downed trees and signs, as well as missing signs may be reported to: (509) 921-1000. 

Spokane Valley is asking people to stay out of parks where trees are down and warns that climbing on downed trees may be dangerous.
